Now that you know the story of the Harrowing, it's time to give you a little taste of all the sweet content that's coming in the next patch. If you're a big fan of creepy costumes and candy consumption, you'll be pleased to know that there'll be plenty of that to go around come October 18th. Here's what's on the docket:
- Limited edition Holiday Runes
- Some sinfully sweet editions of your favorite in-game consumables
- Frighteningly festive costumes for your minions
- A sinister overhaul of Summoner's Rift featuring a more nocturnal motif
- A terrifying new login to get you in the mood
- Limited edition champion skins for a few League favorites who're really in the spirit this Harrowing!
Now, it's one thing to tell you what's coming up, but we all know that a picture is worth a thousand words. So if you've been wondering what your favorite Field of Justice looks like after dark, here's a bit of a preview!
The last time LoL had limited edition content was for the 2010 Winter Games Celebration. If that was any indication, you might want to start saving up IP to get some new runes. They probably won't be as good as normal Tier 3 runes, but it'll be fun to buy them just to show them off. Also, those of you who actually buy RP will have some new spooky skins to get your hands on. Oh Riot, how you come up with ways to seperate us and our money.
